Art in the GEA Center
Since its inception in August 2000, art exhibitions have been regularly presented at GEA headquarters. Under the name “Kunst in der Rotunde” (Art in the Rotunda), works of selected artists are exhibited and made available for public viewing.
The exhibitions of photography, painting and sculpture, encompassing various styles and trends, have since created a modern atmosphere of artistic creativity and imagination at the GEA Group AG corporate headquarters. The glass-domed rotunda has proven itself to be the ideal forum for exhibitions.
All of the artists have a certain connection to the Ruhr Basin or to North Rhine-Westphalia – whether as their place of birth, the location of their studios or through their choice of motifs and themes.
GEA provides support for the arts and their appreciation
Within the framework of the “Bronnbach Stipend”, GEA supports the acquisition of cultural competency for future management staff. Starting with the summer semester 2007, the stipend program, established in 2004, will be launched at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The program is intended to communicate an understanding for creative processes, as well as impart comprehensive information about current art movements. Moreover, it is meant to emphasize the central role that art and culture play in our society.
